Give Your Ears A Treat!
Being a bit of an audiophile myself, I know what it’s like to want to access music in the highest quality available. Unfortunately, in this increasingly mobile, digital age, many of us seem to be happy to put up with listening to music that has lost much of its definition, through over-compressed file formats. However, with other file-types being available that DON’T lose anything in the detail, it amazes me that more of us aren’t abandoning MP3 in favour of these higher quality productions.
So, if you’re like me and don’t want to have to put up with listening to MP3′s all the time, you might be interested to know that my EP ‘Candescence’ is now available in FLAC – a nonlossy audio format. You can access it here at Bandcamp.
To hear the music that you downloaded, you’ll need a player that supports FLAC (I use Songbird). But once it’s up and running, you’ll never look back! Hear the music as it was played in the studio! No loss of clarity or detail – exactly as it was intended to be heard.
